Russian Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov said, “Within the framework of production cooperation between Russian and Hungarian producers, several more party wagons will be sent to Egypt. I believe that this joint project will be the next important step in the development of relations between our countries and will contribute to the development of Russia's non-resource and energy exports ”.
The first wagons reaching Egypt were delivered at a ceremony held at the Port of Alexandria. Under the contract signed in September 2018, the supply of 1.300 train wagons is envisaged. The project, which is financed by the Hungarian and Russian export-import banks, is produced within the wagon production factory in Tver, Russia, and in Hungary.
