The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure has published a number of new decisions regarding road transport regulations. During the first renewal of the authorization documents, which were valid with the new regulation, the transporter was given an additional 6-month grace period.

With the amendment of the regulation published in the Official Gazette on June 23, 2020, it was also stipulated that during the normalization process in the fight against coronavirus, no hot treats were offered to the passengers and that the food and beverages served were 'packaged'.

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu, in his statement regarding the issue, pointed out that the country was performing successfully in the fight against Kovid-19, “As the Ministry, we do not take the precaution during our epidemic process. In addition, we continue our support for companies that provide transportation services on our highways. With the regulation amendment we have published, we have extended the authorization documents of road operators for 6 months free of charge during the first renewal process. ”

Pointing out that the food and beverages given to the passengers must be packaged and served cold, with the amendment of the regulation, Karaismailoğlu said, “We are sensitive to ensure that the catering in the buses comply with the food legislation and that the catering processes are fully compliant with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and Science Board.
