Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank, and Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu examined the maintenance and retrofit activities of the A400 M aircraft, which was described as a "flying fortress", and received information on the work in the cockpit of the aircraft.
Minister of National Defense Akar, Industry and Technology Minister Varank, came to Kayseri to have various contacts with the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Karaismailoğlu.
The General Staff Chief General Yaşar Güler, Army Forces Commander General Ümit Dündar, Air Force Commander Gen. Hasan Hasanakakyüz and Navy Commander Admiral Adnan Özbal as well as TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the ministers and commanders at the 12th Air Transportation Main Base Command. After the briefing at the Base Command, the three ministers and the command line of the Turkish Armed Forces switched to the aircraft hangar to examine the maintenance and retrofit work of the A400 M aircraft on site.
In the briefing, where Governor Günaydın and Kayseri Metropolitan Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç attended and the investments in the city were discussed, a new logistics center and Nevşehir with the projects of renovation of the airport terminal building, transportation of Ankara-Sivas YHT line from Yerköy to Kayseri with a new line - It was learned that the renewal of Kayseri highway was also addressed.
Following the briefing given by the 2nd Air Maintenance Factory Directorate officials in the aircraft hangar, Akar, Varank and Karaismailoğlu made examinations on an A400 M aircraft affiliated to the Air Force Command that was maintained.
The ministers, who went into the cockpit of the A400 M aircraft, which is described as the “flying castle”, received information on the studies and also examined the A400 M aircraft in the hangar area.
VISIT TO ASPİLSAN
Ministers Akar, Varank and Karaismailoğlu also visited ASPİLSAN Energy Industry and Trade Inc. He received information about wearable military battery, smart battery, kangaroo battery storage and charging cabin projects. He examined the lithium ion batteries produced by ASPİLSAN.
