A new name has joined the senior management of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM). IMM President Ekrem İmamoğluhas appointed Alper Bilgili as the General Manager of IETT.
Bilgili was born in Istanbul in 1972. He completed his undergraduate education in the Department of Civil Engineering at Middle East Technical University (METU), and his master's degree in transportation engineering at Boğaziçi University (BU), where he is also a research assistant. He also received a master's degree (MBA) in business education from Istanbul Technical University (ITU).
Bilgili started his business life at Omsan Lojistik in 1999. Then he worked at Arkas Logistics and Aras Cargo between 2002-2005. He then worked as the General Manager of Mars Logistics and Ekol Logistics between 2005-2019.
Alper Bilgili, who also has the FDI (Senior Manager) issued by the Ministry of Transport and CPC professional competence certificates issued by the IRU, also received the IRU Road Transport Hill Manager in 2011, and the Atlas Road Transport Manager of the Year in 2013, 2015 and 2017.
