“World WiFi Day” is organized annually by the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA) to remind the power of worldwide WiFi technology to bring cities and communities together.
Fast and Secure IMM WiFi
IMM WiFi service, which will be offered unlimited within the scope of "World WiFi Day", offers 30 GB of free internet service to Istanbul residents on other days. At IMM WiFi points, users are served with a daily speed of 2 megabits and a 1 Gigabyte quota.
İBB WiFi, which is being expanded in all public areas in Istanbul, continues to use an average of 200 terabytes per month and 30 terabytes of upload. İBB WiFi, which currently provides services to 3,8 million subscribers at 3 thousand 647 locations, is aimed to be further expanded with new points to be planned. While İBB WiFi is the first place in the use of foreign citizens, Russia, Germany, Iran and England are the most connected locations, Beyoğlu İstiklal Caddesi, Sultanahmet, KadıköyCreates Eminönü Square and Taksim Atatürk Library.
How to Use IMM WiFi?
In order to benefit from the free internet service, it is sufficient for users to connect to the İBB WiFi wireless network from their internet points via smartphone, tablet or laptop.
