Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli was the second pilot of the first flight of the Russian amphibious fire fighting aircraft "Be-200 ES" in Izmir skies, which was rented for use in combating forest fires.

After the “Fire Plane Promotion Meeting” held at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, Pakdemirli's second pilot plane put out the fire in the practice area after taking water from Tahtalı Dam.

Returning to the airport after a successful flight, Pakdemirli made a statement about the flight to journalists here.

Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli said that the plane that he tested last year in Russia was “maneuverable” in terms of maneuverability and other aspects.
