Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu stated that the number of personnel and work machines working in the project will increase with the supply tender and said that the project will be put into service in 2021.
With the launch of the Mithatpaşa Tunnels, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure completed the tender to speed up the project, which will reduce the 10.8 km road between Zonguldak and Kilimli to 5.7 km and the travel time from 30 minutes to 5 minutes. Making a statement on the subject, Minister Karaismailoğlu stated that Kilimli district is very important to accelerate the implementation of this road project due to the presence of coal mines and the Filyos Port Project.
