3. Stage Rail System Project is Progressing Fast! Rails Are Laying in Meltem

Rails started to be laid in the Meltem phase of the 3rd Stage Rail System Project of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality. 95% progress was made in infrastructure and line excavation works along Meltem Boulevard.

Works continue in the 3rd Stage Rail System Project of the Metropolitan Municipality, which will connect Varsak to the city center with the Otogar, Antalya Training and Research Hospital. After the multi-storey junction on Dumlupınar Boulevard, the works intensified at the stage of Meltem- Antalya Training and Research Hospital, are progressing at a great pace.

INFRASTRUCTURE TO FINISH

In the part of Meltem Boulevard between İsmail Baha Sürelsan Street and Tarık Akıltopu Street, the teams completed 95 percent of the infrastructure and line excavations. The boulevard, where work machines and teams work feverishly, has turned into a huge construction site.

CATARARY POSTS

While rails are laid on the parts whose infrastructure is finished, the catenary poles that will provide energy for the tram are mounted. In the section of Meltem Boulevard between Dumlupınar Boulevard Yanyolu and İsmail Baha Sürelsan Caddesi, the installation of rail flooring and cateners is completed, while filling concrete and parquet work is carried out.
