The China Aviation Industry Corporation (AVIC) has announced that China has successfully launched its first flight of AG100 educational aircraft developed domestically. AG100, a new generation aircraft, made its first flight at Moganshan Airport in Deqing County, Zhejiang Province, China. According to test pilots, the aircraft showed good maneuverability and stability during its 10-minute flight, and all systems worked normally.
AG100 instructor aircraft was developed by Zhejiang China Aviation Industry General Aircraft Institute under AVIC China Aviation Industry General Aircraft Co., Ltd. AG100 training aircraft was developed to meet the strong demand of China and global markets. The aircraft's design team asked potential buyers for an instructor model. According to AVIC, the prominent features of the aircraft include cost effectiveness, comfortable operation and more safety.
