EGO buses, ANKARAY and Metro will provide free services to students, parents and examiners on Saturday, June 20, where the High School Entrance Exam (LGS) will be held, and on June 27-28, where the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) will be held. Public transportation vehicles belonging to EGO General Directorate will work at full capacity to ensure that students do not experience any difficulties in transportation to the examination places. Metropolitan Municipality Support Services Department teams will also distribute 250 thousand free masks before the exam in the stations of bus stops and rail systems.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality has added a new one to its student-friendly practices.

Students who will take the high school and university exams this year will benefit from public transportation vehicles that serve under the EGO General Directorate during the exam dates.

EXAM DAY FREE TRANSPORTATION IN THE CAPITAL

Public transportation vehicles will be free to students, parents and examiners on 20-27 June, when the High School Entrance Exam (LGS) and Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) will be held on Saturday, June 28 in the Capital.

In line with the decision taken by the Metropolitan Municipality Council on 8 May, students will be able to use EGO buses, ANKARAY and Metro free of charge by showing their exam entry documents.

EGO EXAM DAYS WILL WORK FULL CAPACITY

EGO General Directorate will provide full capacity service in Bus, Metro and ANKARAY on the dates of LGS and YKS exams in order not to make students victimized.

In line with the request of the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), weekday service hours will be valid on all lines. In the LGS exam, the first session is set at 09.30 in the morning, and the second session is at 11.30, while the public transport will work at full capacity for YKS for two days, at 10.15 in the morning and 15.45 in the afternoon, so that students can easily reach the exam areas.

250 THOUSAND MASK WILL BE DISTRIBUTED IN STOPS AND STATIONS BEFORE THE EXAM

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality will distribute free masks to students, parents and examiners on Saturday, June 20, when the LGS exam will be held.

Support Services Department teams, with 20 vehicles and 40 personnel, will be ready for the distribution of 150 thousand masks at bus stops and 100 thousand before the exam at ANKARAY and Metro Stations.
