The General Directorate of EGO completed all preparations for the students to have no problems in transportation to the examination places on June 20, 2020 and the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) on June 27, 28, within the scope of the High School Transition System (LGS). In this context, public transportation vehicles (Bus, Metro and ANKARAY) will serve with a new arrangement in the service hours at the weekends.
According to the regulation made by taking into consideration the demands of the Directorate of Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), EGO General Directorate until the hours of the exams with public transportation vehicles (first session for LGS at 09.30 in the morning, second session at 11.30; Saturday for YKS, including Sunday, 10.15 in the morning; 15.45 in the afternoon) full capacity service will be provided on all lines, taking into account the weekday service hours.
In addition, based on the Decision No. 08.05.2020 dated 533 taken by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Council, students who will take the entrance exams for high school and university entrance exams from public transportation services provided by EGO General Directorate, provided that they, their parents and the teachers in charge will benefit from the exam free of charge.
