463-kilometer production road was constructed in Bergama

Metropolitan produced 146 thousand 657 tons of hot asphalt in Bergama in the last year and built a 463-kilometer production road. 44 thousand 600 kilometers of new water network line was installed in the district. During the metropolitan corona days, he rolled up his sleeves to work effectively in districts outside the metropolis.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality continues its investments in 19 districts outside the metropolis. 146 thousand 657 tons of hot asphalt was produced in Bergama in a year and a production route of 463 kilometers was made. 118 thousand tons of asphalt was laid in the district, 30 thousand tons of patches were made. 263 thousand square meters of key parquet and 99 333 borders were laid throughout the district. İZSU General Directorate cleared 4 streams and drilled 8 drilling wells in Bergama. In addition, 44 thousand 600 kilometers of new water line was laid. Again, 8 kilometers of new sewer lines were built in Bergama. The drinking water line of Göçbeyli Mahallesi has been completely renewed. The wastewater treatment plants in Zeytindağ, Bölcek, Ayaskent and Göçbeyli districts have come to an end.

In the district, 943 thousand 2 West Aegean race queen bees were distributed to 930 producers in total. 339 bee hives, 342 empty hives and materials were delivered to 671 producers. 3 thousand liters milk cooling tank support was provided to Çamavlu Agricultural Development Cooperatives. A total of 427 thousand 50 fruit trees were distributed to Bergama as part of the Afforestation Project of the Metropolitan Municipality. In order to investigate the loss of pine nuts, which turned into the nightmare of the producer in the district, air measurement devices were installed in Aşağıbey and Karaveliler neighborhoods. Social Projects Department organized home pension training and soilless agriculture training with the Directorate of Vocational Factory in Bergama. Applied entrepreneurship trainings were provided through joint efforts with İşkur and Kosgeb.

IT Department distributed computers and printers to 118 neighborhood headmen in the district. Within the scope of the WizmirNET project, free internet service was provided at 2 points: Bergama Republic Square and Cultural Center.

While 253 trash cans were placed throughout the district by the Department of Parks and Gardens, 300 benches and picnic tables were placed. The Department of Cemeteries has also performed maintenance, cleaning and repair work for a total of 2 thousand acres of cemetery areas.

20 thousand masks were distributed in Bergama

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, which started to work in Crisis Municipality within the scope of combating coronavirus epidemic, distributed 3 thousand 400 food parcels, 15 thousand iftar packages and 20 thousand masks in the district. 5 thousand masks were delivered to Bergama Municipality. Social assistance cards of 2 lira were distributed to 76 thousand 400 people benefiting from the existing supports of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality. Again, 350 hygiene packages were delivered to agricultural workers.
