TÜRK-İŞ Chairman Ergün Atalay examined the national electric train set at TÜVASAŞ and gave the date that the train will hit the tracks.
After the aluminum body production workshop was opened in June 2019, it was announced that the first set of the National Electric Train, which was started in TÜVASAŞ, will be on the 29th of May. However, upon the last order from Ankara, it was reported that this ceremony was canceled and it was announced from the social media accounts of TÜVASAŞ that the ceremony was canceled. On these developments, Türk-İş Chairman Ergün Atalay examined the National Electric Train Set on site. President Atalay gave the good news that the train would be on the rails on October 29, by giving a date after the examination.

TÜRK-İŞ President Ergün Atalay said that the train could be on the roads on October 29. Atalay said, “Today I especially preferred to visit this place. I got information about the Electric Train from my General Manager. Our desire is to make these trains, which we have bought from other countries for years, in our country with their workers and industrialists. Let those who rule this country do. Alhamdulillah, we have come to the end of the road we started 7 years ago. Our wish is that our Minister of Transport and Infrastructure will arrive in a short time, I think the test drives of this train will start in August, and this train will be on the roads on October 29. It is that important to us. I hope we will make the first flight of this train to Istanbul with the participation of our President and all politicians and bureaucrats in the country. This train was held in TÜVASAŞ. Everyone has a labor, from the worker to the manager. The national train was something we would not believe if we had seen it in our dreams before, but alhamdulillah I had the opportunity to take all the trains in the world. Everyone will be happy when the national electric train set is offered to our people ”.
