Samsun-Sivas Kalın railway line, which has been modernized by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and aimed to carry 3 million tons of cargo annually, will give a new impetus to logistics transportation in the north-south corridor.

40 historical bridges were restored as part of the modernization of the Samsun-Sivas Kalın line. With the project, the infrastructure of the railway was renewed with a floor improvement of 6.70 meters in platform width. The rail, traverse, ballast and truss superstructure of the line was changed by making improvements in 12 tunnels.
