The first engine factory in our country was established by THK at Gazi Orman Çiftliği. The works of the factory lasted until 1951 and due to the conditions of the period, it was transferred to the Machinery and Chemical Industry in the same year. This factory was completely closed in 1952 and still operated as a Turkish Tractor Factory and contributes to the country's economy with the production of tractors.
