Family, Labor and Social Services Minister Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk announced that 62.500 people were encouraged to pay the professional competence, exam and certification incentive in the amount of 60 million TL in order to establish a qualified workforce that plays the most important role in ensuring efficiency and efficiency in production.
In his statement, Minister Selçuk stated that the individuals who were entitled to take the Occupational Proficiency Certificate between 16 January and 1 March successfully from the professional competency exams, which have been suspended from 16 March as part of the coronavirus measures, can take the exam and document fees back on 26 March. He stated that the incentive of the professional qualification certificate to be provided from the Unemployment Insurance Fund will continue until 2022 within the scope of supporting the production, which is adversely affected by the Law, which came into force with the qualified labor force.
Selçuk also added, “We determine the occupational standards needed in working life in cooperation with our Vocational Qualification Authority, relevant Ministries, professional organizations, unions and NGOs. We will continue to work with all our strength to accelerate the production processes that are negatively affected in some sectors due to the pandemic with a qualified and certified workforce. ” He stressed the importance of production in the country's economy.
