Most of the automotive factories started production again. As of May 11, the remaining two factories will start production and all automobile factories will start their activities again. ” Minister Varank, the first one of the 5 thousand test capacity laboratory opened in Kocaeli last week, said that the second will be opened, “A similar project for Ankara will be launched soon. We are about to complete our preparations in cooperation with our Chamber of Industry, OIZ Administrations, the Ministry of Health and our Ministry. We will also establish a laboratory with a test capacity of over 4 per day for Ankara. ” he spoke.

Minister Varank attended the "Our Business, Our Power, Production" joint meeting with the participation of Ankara Chamber of Industry Assembly Members and Committee Heads via video conference method. Ankara Chamber of Industry President Nurettin Özdebir thanked the government for their work during the Covid-19 process. Minister Varank also stated that industrialists took unique steps to continue their jobs stronger from where they left off when the epidemic ended. Minister Varank said in his speech:

SUCCESSFUL TEST GAVE TURKEY: Turkey, gave a successful test in this global shock, keeps on giving. We entered a period in which the spread and the number of patients in the epidemic decreased regularly. This success was undoubtedly thanks to the steps we took in coordination with the leadership of our President. We have implemented concrete and dynamic policies in all areas from health to education, from security to transportation. We thought deeply, we did not act in panic.

WE HAVE NOT APPROACHED AS A FACTORY COVER: From the beginning of the outbreak, we have meticulously considered all requests and suggestions. We announced special support programs through KOSGEB, TÜBİTAK and development agencies. We made it possible to work remotely in technoparks and R&D centers. We never had an approach like a factory closure. During the restriction, in addition to the sectors in the circular of the Ministry of the Interior, 16 firms continued their production in coordination with our provincial directorates and chambers of industry.

SUCCESS OF R&D ECOSYSTEM: We even lowered our local intensive care respirator from the mass production line in just two weeks. These are of course not a coincidence. The R&D ecosystem that we built from scratch in 18 years has been the most important architect of this success. This growing ecosystem and a very young start-ups that benefit from the support of the Ministry not only to Turkey, was all you could hope to the world.

BREATHING TO OTHER COUNTRIES: With the collaboration of Biosys, Baykar, Aselsan and Arçelik, we have been able to produce a world-class device in a record time of 14 days with great dedication and dedication. These devices besides being breath to Turkey, Somalia was also breathing. It will also breathe to other countries in need. Just yesterday, we were talking about the success of our UAVs and SİHAs. Today, our intensive care breathing apparatus is the number one agenda everywhere.

11 MAY TITLE: There are important developments on the production front. Most of the automotive factories started production again. As of May 11, all of the main automobile factories in our country will start their activities again. We know that some textile companies are starting to open. With the normalization of shopping malls and export channels, the sector will recover rapidly.

5 OUR FUNDAMENTAL EXPECTATION: We have 5 basic expectations from you. First and foremost, you should ensure the health of your employees. You should plan the processes very well. Every detail is very important from the sitting order in the services to the shifts in the factory.

SECOND LABORATORY TO ANKARA: We started a pilot project in Kocaeli, one of the cities where the heart of the industry beats. Together with our Ministry of Health, a laboratory with a daily testing capacity of 5 thousand was established at Gebze Technical University to serve the industry only. A similar project for Ankara will be launched soon. We are about to complete our preparations in cooperation with our Chamber of Industry, OIZ Administrations, Ministry of Health and our Ministry. A laboratory with a test capacity of more than 4 thousand per day is also being established for Ankara.

CLOSE TO THE HEALTH'S HEALTH: In the coming period, we will start screening tests in Istanbul, Bursa and Tekirdağ. By the end of May, we now want to put this system into operation in all OIZs. Thus, we will follow the health of our workers much more closely.

PLANNING PROPOSAL TOGETHER: Our second expectation is that you are dynamic. When demand starts to revive, you should be able to feed the market in the best way. So let's plan the steps that will give you a competitive advantage. Let's shape the mechanisms that will speed up your investment decisions, increase predictability or ease your financing problem.

STRENGTHEN OUR LOCATION: Third, strengthen your position in the supply chains. Contact global companies operating in your industry. Make an offer to become their supplier. Find new partners, open to new markets. Follow the calls we will open within the scope of the Technology Focused Industry Move Program.

INCREASE DOMESTIC: Fourth, focus on increasing your localization rates. This epidemic has reaffirmed how important self-sufficiency is. As dependency to other countries in production decreases, resistance to external shocks also increases. Develop business models that nurture different production methods, new product lines and innovative ideas. Never stop investing in R&D, innovation and human resources.

INVEST IN DIGITAL: Fifth and last, I strongly recommend that you invest in digital technologies. Whatever the industry you work in, try to integrate it with digital technologies. Design and implement mechanisms by which you can move your business volume to the digital environment.
