Work is continuing at the Izmit 42 Evler station on the new line between Arifiye and Pendik that the suburban train will use. The station is expected to open in August.
According to the news of Muharrem Şenol from Özgür Kocaeli; “For the suburban train line in the Izmit 42 Evler region, the construction of new electricity and signaling lines, called platforms and cateners, is ongoing. Adapazarı Arifiye-Pendik commuter train line, which was stopped due to the High Speed Train operation in 2012 and reopened after a 3-year break, was added to the suburban train line and the number was doubled. Work on the second line continues in the 42 Evler area.
20 PEOPLE WORK
The platform and electrical signaling works continue in the area where the rails are laid. While the infrastructure work of the 2 platforms is continuing, there is currently no work on the lines. The infrastructure work of the platforms will take another 10 days. After the completion of the infrastructure work, the construction of platforms will begin. Work in the area started on 20 February. The platform, which 20 people work in, is expected to be completed in August.
