Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality continues to implement giant projects to provide quality and comfortable transportation to many points of the city. While the newly built roads accelerate the traffic flow, it also provides convenience to citizens as an alternative transportation route. In this context, an easy connection to Istanbul will be provided with the connection road work in Çayırova. Transportation between the two regions will be easier with the bridge connection study between Tuzla Şifa Mahallesi and Çayırova. In the project works that will be completed in the near future, auto railing and intersection works are ongoing.

Within the scope of the project, 2 meters of road were manufactured. In the study, 500 thousand 4 cubic meters of concrete, 615 tons of iron, 675 meters of rainwater sewage line, 429 meters of drinking water line were made. 597 meters of piles were produced for bridges. Within the study, 852 square meters of parquet and 5, 600 meters of borders were laid. 10 thousand 150 tons of asphalt material was used on the roads. In addition, within the scope of the project, earthenware, bored piles and jet grouts were manufactured.

TWO BRIDGES BUILT

With the commissioning of the project, a connection to E-80 will be provided, and both east west and north south direction traffic will be provided. The bridge and connection roads that are built connect Tuzla Şifa Mahallesi and Çayırova region. Within the scope of the project, one 1 and a half meter long 91 meter wide bridge and one 7 meter long 90 meter wide bridge were built.

ÇAYIROVA - TRANSPORTATION BETWEEN TUZLA WILL BE EASY

Transportation problem between Şifa Mahallesi - Çayırova district, which does not have a direct connection to Şekerpınar connection road E-80, will be eliminated thanks to the connection roads built. The residents of Şifa Mahallesi, which can reach Şekerpınar connection road via Çiftlik Street, will provide easier access to Çayırova direction upon completion of the project.
