The reporting period of R&D centers has been extended

The Ministry of Industry and Technology extended the delivery period of the activity reports of R&D and design centers and financial audit reports of enterprises in the Technology Development Zones (TGB) for one additional month to 30 June 2020.

In order to reduce the effects of Covid-19 epidemic on economic and social life, it was decided that activities carried out in R&D and design centers could be carried out outside the center for a while. In the same way, the companies operating in the Technology Development Zones were paved the way to perform their activities outside these regions.

Within this framework, the ministry changed the time for the R&D and design centers to issue annual reports. The activity reports, which should be submitted to the ministry at the latest in May, were given an additional month. The Ministry has extended the time limit to the financial audit reports that enterprises operating in the Technology Development Zones should submit at the end of May.

It was also noted in the Ministry's additional period decision that the Ministry of Treasury and Finance extended the period for filing corporate tax returns.

In the new situation, the R&D and design centers, the annual reports of 2019, and the companies operating in the Technology Development Zones will be able to send to the ministry electronically until June 2019, 30, with the annual information of 2020 and the certified financial advisor approved financial audit report.
