Continuing its efforts to make transportation more convenient throughout the city, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality had paved the paving stones at the junction in front of the Orduevi on the Izmit Büyük Seka Tunnel last week. This time, the Department of Science Affairs teams conducted a similar study at the Gültepe Junction, located at the western end of the tunnel. The citizens traveling by car at the Gültepe Crossroad disturbed the cubes and removed the asphalt.
800 TONE ASPHALT LAYED
Work began at the Gültepe Crossroad at the western end of the tunnel. The teams, who removed the cubic stone paving at the junction, made the asphalt pavement in a short time. Within the scope of the works, a total of 800 tons of asphalt was laid at the junction. Thus, Gültepe Junction has been made more comfortable.
