Then, we aim to start the production of the dam at full capacity until the end of the year with the commissioning of one more tribune every month. When the plant with a total installed power of 1200 MW is commissioned with full capacity, an average of 4120 GWh energy will be produced annually. Thus, an annual contribution of 412 million dollars will be made from energy production to economy. With this production figure, the annual energy needs of a city of 6 million people can be met. ”
VERY NUMBER OF VILLAGES ARE MADE IN THE DAM
Under the dam construction, Pakdemirli stated that the Midyat-Dargeçit road, where the vehicles passed with difficulty, was reconstructed. said they started to make the village road.
ILISU PROJECT COSTED 18 BILLION LIRAS
Minister Pakdemirli added that the Ilısu project cost about 18 billion liras along with dam, resettlement, protection of historical and cultural assets and other constructions.
