Transport and Infrastructure Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu said that all Ministries have taken various measures in the fight against the Covid-19 outbreak that started in China and became a pandemic in the world. At this point, as the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Karaismailoğlu stated that they have made a certification program for the airports and announced that all airports will be reorganized with the said certification program. Stating that the program was prepared in line with the predictions of the Ministry of Health and the Scientific Committee, Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “The circular for the certification program was also prepared and sent to all airports. Within the scope of the circular, our Ministry of Civil Aviation will be informed and inspected, and a certificate will be issued by the Ministry to the airports that meet the requirements. This certificate will also be shared with the partner countries and airlines and it will be documented that all measures against the Covid-19 outbreak have been taken at our airports. ”
Measures Regarding Public Transport Enterprises Are Also Taken
Karaismailoğlu also stated that the circular, which shows the measures to be taken due to the prevention of the epidemic for airlines, is also in the preparation phase. Explaining that the draft of the circular in question was prepared, Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “It will be published in the framework of the opinions of our Ministry of Health and it will be registered that all kinds of measures are taken against the Covid-19 pandemic in the field. In addition, the measures related to public transportation enterprises to the airports were determined and implemented by our Ministry. Certification activities related to tourism facilities purchased by our other ministries are also ongoing. ”
All Stakeholder Measures Will Take in Transport and Accommodation
Karaismailoğlu, pointing out that in taking necessary measures of all stakeholders of the transport and accommodation with the said regulations, whereby said all the outbreaks of probabilities, which have taken a holistic approach of measures to be first against the country will be Turkey. Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “The opportunity for more secure domestic flights, which are planned to start after the holiday in our country, has been created. Negotiations are continuing with international organizations and contact countries related to international flights. As a result of these negotiations, international flights are planned to start safely. ”
Scope of Renewal Trainings Expanded
Karaismailoğlu announced that another regulation was made to reduce the effect of Covid-19 and to facilitate air transport operations. Minister Karaismailoğlu also declared that the hand disinfectants containing hazardous substance solutions and infected blood samples and the validity periods of the renewal of the dangerous goods are published, and the scope of the renewal trainings that can be extended for a maximum of 4 months, the validity period of which will be extended by August 31, at the latest.
