EGO's 10 Female Drivers Counting Days To Take To Traffic

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to set an example for other municipalities with efforts to increase women's employment. Acting upon the instructions of the Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, EGO General Directorate recruited 10 female drivers to be employed in public transportation vehicles. Women drivers, who enter the exam and continue their education, are looking forward to the day they will go to traffic.

The EGO General Directorate signed a first in order to assign it to public transportation vehicles by the instruction of Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş and opened 10 exams and made XNUMX female drivers.

The Metropolitan Municipality, which focuses on projects to increase women's employment in the city administration and service units, used its preference for women to use EGO buses.

Firstly, female candidates who were subjected to an oral exam were also given a practical exam on maneuvering and driving techniques.

8 HOURS OF TRAINING PER DAY

Mustafa Geyikçi, Head of the Bus Management Department of the General Directorate of EGO, pointed out that female drivers achieved significant success in training and gave the following information:

“Our president, Mr. Mansur Yavaş, has instructed EGO buses that the woman's hand must be touched. So we opened an exam on it. 10 female friends won the exam. They are currently in the training phase. Our expert trainers give 8 hours of training to our female friends. When the trainings are over, we plan to assign our women friends to the ring services of our subways. As the distances are short, we will assign our friends here first, and then they will work to serve our citizens all over Ankara. ”
