Environment and Urbanization Minister Murat Kurum, stated that no ship will be contacted from abroad which is not controlled whether it carries a sanitary risk.


Minister Institution, in a statement made from his social media account; “With the circular we sent to our 28 provinces on the coast; No ships will be contacted from abroad that are not controlled whether they have a sanitary risk or not, and only ships with protective equipment will be contacted.

The Authority stating that no ships coming from abroad, which are not controlled for sanitary risk, will not be contacted, and ships that are found to have no risk will only be contacted with protective equipment. Mask, gloves and hygiene material wastes will be kept in temporary storage areas for 72 hours and sent to disposal. Garbage of domestic quarantined ships will be managed as medical waste.
