In his written statement, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu recalled that high-speed, outline and regional train services were temporarily stopped as of 28 March 2020, as long as the inter-city trips were restricted within the scope of combating the new type of coronavirus outbreak affecting the world.
