Konya Metropolitan Municipality is making street arrangements in the city center and districts by taking advantage of the lack of traffic due to the curfew. Konya Metropolitan Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that they have been making arrangements at 18 crossings in the city center and in all districts and said, “We plan to complete the arrangements in the main arteries until Sunday evening. We are working day and night to improve our city and relax the traffic while the people of Konya are at home because of the curfew. ”

Expressing that they make arrangements for pedestrian traffic flow and traffic numbers on all roads in the city, Mayor Altay said, “We have planned at 18 junctions in the city center. We have completed 3 of this. Our aim is to make city traffic more fluent; To ensure the safety of bicycles and pedestrians. At all intersections, our friends make arrangements according to individual measurements. We coincided with these regulations when there was a curfew. Thus, we have the least impact on city traffic. It is very difficult to stop and rearrange traffic at these junctions in normal time. For him, our friends work intensely on the day of the curfew. I thank all our teams. ”
