HOW IS THE AIR QUALITY MEASURED?
Stating that air quality data is used to evaluate the effects of pollutants on our health, İBB Air Quality Laboratory Responsible Muhammed Doğan said that air quality measurement is done in every corner of Istanbul with 26 fixed and 2 mobile air quality monitoring stations. Istanbul air quality measurements are made with a total of 36 stations and examined by our center. We have fully automatic devices in European standards. These devices constantly measure air. These data are sent instantly to the computer in the center. The measured values are processed by the system and shared with the public instantly. ”
PUBLIC AND ACADEMIC ENVIRONMENT USES OUR DATA

“Thanks to air quality measurements, our people who are worried about pollution or health problems arising from pollution can access current air quality information. In addition to knowing the air that the citizen breathes with the measurements made, scientific institutions also use our measurement data in their academic studies. ”
