Metropolitan Municipality teams distributed free masks to citizens in metro lines, public transportation vehicles, market places and city squares within the scope of 'coronavirus-fighting efforts'.

The application, carried out by the Health Affairs Department teams, started at Bursaray Şehreküstü Station. Citizens coming to the station and leaving the metro were greeted by the municipal teams. Citizens, who wore their protective masks and took hand kits with cleaning agents, continued on their way safely using the hand sanitizer held to them. Later, the work continued in Şehreküstü Square, followed by the market place established in Millet District.

Mehmet Fidan, head of the Metropolitan Municipality Health Affairs Department, noted that similar activities have been carried out in various areas of Bursa, especially public transport and indoor spaces, and that they have signed this work against the virus epidemic that surrounds the world. Emphasizing that the application will continue throughout the day, Fidan said, “We invite our citizens to maintain their social distances and to comply with the authorities' calls in this direction. We especially recommend our people over 60 and under 20 to stay at home. Together, as the nation and the state, we will remove this virus from our country as soon as possible. ”
