The Ministry of Health has developed the Pandemic Isolation Monitoring Project (ITP) to reduce the Kovid-19 outbreak and isolate patients.
According to the statement made by the Communication Directorate, isolation is the most important measure to control the new type of coronavirus (Kovid-19) outbreak.
The isolation of those who are particularly positive with the Kovid-19 test and who are in contact with those diagnosed is vital in this period. In this context, the Ministry of Health launched the Pandemi Isolation Tracking Project in order to monitor patients and be warned when necessary.
The project was put into practice in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, Information Technologies and Communication Authority and all GSM operators, after obtaining the necessary permissions within the framework of legal authority.
Within the scope of the project, it is planned to follow whether positive cases comply with the isolation rule required for the health of both their relatives and the whole society.
Those who do not comply with insulation will be warned

The data obtained within the scope of the project will not be used for any purpose other than combating the epidemic and will be destroyed at the time when the risk of the epidemic ends. If the data cannot be used for any other purpose, it will be under state guarantee and the security of the system will be tightly controlled. Accordingly, for the purpose of protecting public health, preventive medicine, medical diagnosis, treatment and care services, it is envisaged that personally qualified personal data can be processed by the persons under obligation to keep secrets or authorized institutions and organizations without the explicit consent of those concerned.
In the justification of the law numbered 6698, it is stated that the authorized institutions and organizations stated in the mentioned article are the Ministry of Health, Social Security Institution and health facilities. Therefore, the processing and transfer of personal data such as location information and special personal data such as the Kovid-19 test is positive in the context of combating the outbreak does not constitute a violation of the provisions of Law No. 6698.
