Railway Solution to the Effect of Coronavirus on Trade

Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan made statements regarding the measures taken against the economic effects of the coronavirus epidemic.

“A train from Kapıkule carries 35 thousand 800 wagons annually. We can increase this to the capacity of 50 thousand wagons as soon as possible. We also solved our problem with Iran through Kapıköy train. Our locomotives push the train from Kapıköy. When it enters the Iranian border, the locomotives in Iran pull the train. We operate the system in this way. Currently, 6 wagons load about 80 trucks. We are ready to serve and as of today we are in a position to increase the capacity of 160 trucks to 120 trucks. ” He spoke in the form.
