Tram in Istanbul Hit the IETT Bus 2 Wounded; Trams and buses collided in Sultangazi, Istanbul. Sultangazi Cebeci Mahallesi The tram going to Topkapı direction on the Old Edirne Asphalt, the bus driver and the vatman were slightly injured as a result of collision with the IETT bus.
The accident occurred at the stop of Sultançiftliği neighborhood of 11.00 hours. While the IETT bus crossed the tramway, it collided with the tram. Fire brigade and medical team were dispatched to the scene. The bus driver and the vatman were slightly injured in the accident.
The injured were hospitalized. It was learned that the vat did not stop due to brake failure. Due to the accident, the T4 Topkapı-Masjid-i Selam tram line will be temporarily run between Topkapı-Sultançiftliği stations.
