Elazig Municipality continues its alternative road works that will breathe the city traffic with new boulevards and zoning roads.
In order to provide uninterrupted and comfortable transportation throughout the city by the teams affiliated to the Elazig Municipality Directorate of Science, new road, road expansion and road modernization studies are continuing. In line with the studies carried out, studies were started at three different points.
Within the scope of the works carried out by the teams affiliated to the Directorate of Science, sub-ground preparations were initiated in a 2800 meter long 35 meter wide road work that will connect between Ataşehir, Hicret and Aksaray Neighborhoods.
The excavation works were started within the scope of the new boulevard work, 700 meters long and 20 meters wide, which will connect the Cumhuriyet Mahallesi back to the courthouse and the Keban Road.
Excavation works are also continuing on the new construction road, which is 1850 meters long and 25 meters wide, which will connect the Çayda Çıra Mahallesi with the new residential area of the city, Keban Yolu and Şahinkaya Village.
In a statement made by the Press and Broadcasting and Public Relations Directorate of Elazig Municipality, it was noted that the studies will continue without interruption in the city in order to reduce the traffic density in the main arteries and provide driving comfort.
