Alinur Aktaş, Mayor of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, who attended the Board of Directors Meeting of TÜMSİAD Bursa Branch with video conferencing method and made important statements about transportation investments, gave two good news. Stating that he had met with the Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure recently, Mayor Aktaş said that the tender for the Emek-Şehir Hospital subway line could be held in May. President Aktaş also had a good news about the work at Acemler Kaşvağı. President Alinur Aktaş announced that they started a 7-8 stage study at Acemler, the first phase of this is over, and tunnel and overpass works will begin in the coming period.

President Aktaş made important statements to businessmen on many issues ranging from social aid to the municipalities to social aid.


Making a statement on a question from the businessmen regarding transportation and infrastructure investments, Mayor Aktaş gave detailed information on both the work at the Acemler Junction and the tender of the Emek-Şehir Hospital metro line.

Drawing attention to the fact that asphalting works were carried out on important streets of the city, Mayor Aktaş said, “A serious asphalting was made on Mudanya Road. Studies on the rail system and other issues in the city center have been and are being done. Work has started and will continue in the İpekcılık, Namazgah and Yeşil regions. Transportation is a sine qua non for us. ”

Following these statements he made, President Aktaş also gave information about what was done during the coronavirus outbreak.


Speaking after the information given by Mayor Aktaş, TÜMSİAD Bursa Branch President M. Kemal Şerbetçioğlu said that the works of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality are shown as an example throughout the country.
