Minister Karaismailoğlu made a review after the construction of the roads of the Başakşehir İkitelli City Hospital, which will be opened in May with the instructions of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
Making a statement to members of the press here, Karaismailoğlu said that one of the most needed places due to coronavirus is health facilities. Karaismailoğlu said:
“Başakşehir İkitelli City Hospital has the most advanced technologies in the world. A huge complex with 2 beds. This is one of the complexes that we can use most in this struggle. Our Ministry of Health continues to work very quickly to finish this hospital. Currently, the access roads of the hospital are on our agenda. It's late. It had to be finished by now, but those who had to finish did not finish these roads. It is not possible to make a hospital road for everyone. From the beginning of this week, we started the construction of the roads by taking the responsibility of our Ministry of General Directorate of Highways. Our President declared the opening of the first section of the hospital as April 700. Hopefully, the emergency part of our hospital will open on April 20. It won't have a problem with access. When the entire hospital is opened on May 20, it will start to serve with its roads. Hopefully we will have access to all the roads of our hospital until May 20. We also visit our site to give our friends morale. We wish success to all our friends. ”
“It is clear who has the responsibility of the subway”
Minister Karaismailoğlu, on a question about the subway to the hospital, said, “It is obvious that the responsibility of the subway is in charge. It is a metro whose construction has started by İBB. Up to 10 percent of the production has been completed. Construction sites are already open. Those responsible are required to fulfill their responsibilities. Unfortunately, in such a large complex, it is expected that there will be 100 thousand people daily. I wish he opened with his subway. Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality must fulfill this responsibility. We expect them to do their duties. ” said.
