In 2018, a pedestrian bridge was planned to be built by the Azerbaijan State Highways Agency at the intersection of Moscow Boulevard and 20 January Avenue, where both vehicle and pedestrian traffic are very busy in Baku and Freysaş Freyssinet Yapı Sistemleri Sanayi A.Ş. The concept design made by Azerbaijan State Highway Agency was accepted.
The overpass bridge is designed to be T-shaped and with an oblique suspension; It is the first example in the world where the slant hanger comes out of a single foot and works in 4 directions. The span over Moscow Boulevard is 80 m, and the openings over 20 Ocak Street are 33.50 m and 20.50 m. The width of the bridge deck is 3 meters.
Freysaş Freyssinet Yapı Sistemleri Sanayi A.Ş. The pedestrian crossing undertaken by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev was opened on 3 April 2020.
