Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank stated that they have started work on intensive care respiratory equipment, which gained importance due to the new type of coronavirus (Kovid-19) epidemic, “We contacted Biosys about how to make mass production of domestic respirators. Our national companies such as Baykar and ASELSAN have started to provide all kinds of support in order to improve the device and speed up mass production. ” said.

However, we had a Biosys company, which we previously contacted about intensive care respiratory equipment. We contacted them about how to mass-produce this device. Expressing that the respirators have a 100 percent locality rate, Varank reminded that Arçelik also realized mass production by establishing a production line from scratch.

OVERSEAS REQUESTS
Pointing out that the stakeholders who contributed to the development of the device did not do this job with commercial concerns, Varank stated that all the rights of the device were transferred to the Ministry of Health.
Touching on the requests coming from abroad regarding the device, Varank said:
“We receive demands from the embassies. Some of the 5-6 companies producing these devices in the world contacted our country. 'We can not keep up with the demand, make production on our behalf, help us, we will produce together.' We also receive their requests. We will be able to export this device to countries that request us. It is also possible to send the device to countries that cannot afford it. ”
