World Health Organization personnel attacked in Myanmar

World Health Organization personnel announced that a driver was killed in an attack in Myanmar.

It was stated that the driver who carried the test sticks of Corona patients with his vehicle died in the hospital where he was removed after being injured in the attack in Rakhine region of Myanmar.

The WHO employee was using the vehicle with the UN emblem carrying Covid-19 test samples to assist Sittwe and Yangon with the Ministry of Health and Sports.

While it was not known who made the attack, both the Myanmar Army and the Arakan Army insurged each other, rejecting responsibility for the attack.

WHO's flag in the Myanmar Office was lowered on the incident.
