The President's Decision regarding the registration and announcement of 21 regions in Ankara, Samsun, Konya, Mersin, Antalya, Muğla, Van, Bitlis, Muş, Kayseri as “Precise Protected Areas” was published in the Official Gazette.

Accordingly, Örencik Fossil Beds in Kahramankazan, Ankara, Kirmir Stream Edge and Caves in Güdül district, Tuzla-Palas Lake natural protected areas on the border of Kayseri's Bünyan and Sarıoğlan districts have been declared as sensitive areas.

Located in the borders of Hacıosman Forest in Çarşamba district of Samsun and 19 May, Alaçam and Bafra districts, Kızılırmak Delta, Samsam Lake in Kulu district of Konya and Kötüini Lake natural sites are also registered as sensitive areas to be protected.

Antalya's Döşemealtı district, Düzlerçamı Forest, Güver Cliff, Termessos Ancient City, Taşdibi Peninsula in Demre district, Olbia-Aktalia Ancient Cities in Konyaaltı district, Emecik District (Alavara locality) in Datça district of Muğla and Adanalıoğlu in Mediterranean district of Mersin. natural sites have been declared as sensitive areas to be protected.

Akgöl in Özalp district of Van, İspiriz Mountain in Başkale district, Kazlıgöl in Saray district, Tuz Lake and Değirmigöl, Şor Lake in Bulanik district of Muş, Heybeli Lake and Ahlat located in Bitlis, Adilcevaz district and Erciş district of Van. In addition, a total of 6 animal species were identified in the area, including 3 fish, 9 amphibian species, 113 reptile species, 10 bird species, 52 mammals and 193 terrestrial invertebrates, 7 of which were critical species and 4 of these critical species were endemic species. was found to be.

Nazik Lake is considered as the largest fresh water lake located in the Van basin with an area of ​​1870 hectares at an altitude of 4635 meters.

Samsun on May 19, Spruce and Red River Delta is located in Bafra district boundaries of natural protected areas, known as one of the largest and richest bird areas in Turkey.

Kızılırmak Delta, which is one of the most important bird areas in the Black Sea Region in terms of the area it covers, the bird species it contains, the number of bird individuals, also contains rare ecosystems such as aquatic areas, dune areas, which are rare and critical worldwide, and hosts many animal and plant species. .

24 plant taxa were detected in the field studies carried out in the natural protected area between Olbia-Aktalia Antique Cities in Konyaaltı, Antalya. The area, which contains faunistically important species, contains important flora and fauna species on a global and national scale according to critical species criteria. The region designated as the Sensitive Area to be Protected Precisely; It contains the aquatic ecosystem, which also includes the creek, as well as habitats with high terrestrial natural value that retain its natural structure.

In addition, the area is among the places of great importance in terms of natural and visual landscape.
