Family, Labor and Social Services Minister Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk announced that TL 2 cash support payments to 300 million 1.000 thousand households have started today, as part of the Economic Stability Shield Package.
Under the Economic Stability Shield Package announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister Selçuk reminded that the first support was given to 2 million 111 thousand households receiving regular social assistance between 1-5 April 2020; “Our Social Support Program, which we created to support our citizens within the scope of combating coronavirus, consists of 3 phases. With our Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations, we provide cash assistance of 2.3 million to the 2 million households we have identified in need within the scope of phase 1.000. ” he spoke.
As in the first support, Selçuk emphasized that these households are currently registered in the Social Aid system and do not need to make any applications. “1.000 TL cash support payment has begun to be deposited into PTT accounts of these households today. As with the previous aid, these aids are handed over to the house to reduce the risk of transmission. ” said.
Application will be received for 3rd Phase Payments
Stating that the applications for the 3rd phase 1000 TL payments will be started to be received through e-Government, Minister Selçuk said: “The payments within the scope of phase 3 are not based on individuals; household based. If more than one application is made from the same household, we will consider this as a single application. ” testified.
Minister Selçuk added that they will also announce the dates regarding the payments under the 3rd phase.
