The Ministry of Environment and Urbanization continues to pay support for new home owners and tenants! Tenants are given rental assistance due to urban transformation with varying support payments from city to city. In big cities, this assistance goes up to 1150 TL per month, while in small towns with a small population it varies between 600-715 TL.
These payments provided by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization last for 18 months. These payments can go up to 36 months, depending on the situation. Citizens whose homes are in the area of urban transformation within the scope of urban transformation have to apply for rental assistance. Payments are not automatically linked! Citizens can apply to the Provincial Directorates of Environment and Urbanization, Municipalities or Social Assistance Associations.
The rent assistance payment for urban transformation was paid as 1150 TL per month. The minimum amount of the rent payment was 715 TL. This payment is expected to increase further in 2020.
Limited real rights holders are also paid 5 thousand 425 TL at a time. With the payment of rent aid from the state, the decision to evacuate or the start of the demolition process, the state's rent aid also begins.
