Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality continues its trainings at the Traffic Education Park, which was built to raise traffic awareness among children.

Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department continues to provide trainings to raise traffic awareness in children in the Traffic Education Park, which is built on an area of ​​10 thousand square meters in Bağcılar District of Bağlar District. In cooperation with the Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality and the Provincial Police Department Traffic Department Directorate, presentations are made about pedestrian and vehicle traffic in the trainings given to children by expert trainers. Following the theoretical information accompanied by cinevision in the trainings held at the request of the schools, children are practiced on the tracks in the park. In Traffic Education Park, where there are various structures such as pedestrian crossings, traffic lights, overpasses, battery cars, buildings, schools, hospitals, it is aimed that children learn to be respectful of pedestrians and living things when they become drivers in the future.

Traffic rules are explained

Within the scope of the trainings, approximately 7 students between 10-100 years of age were trained from a private school. In the trainings given by expert trainers, information was given about what children should do in traffic, how to use overpasses, what traffic signs and lights do, what should be considered as pedestrian, driver and passenger, and the importance of the seat belt to warn their parents. In addition, children were told about the traffic accidents and the role of seat belts in saving human life with the simulation tool placed in the park. At the end of the trainings, the children were given a red whistle by the instructors and the drivers were asked to play the red whistle if they did not comply with the rules.
