Public Transport Vehicles Disinfected in Malatya

Malatya Metropolitan Municipality MOTAŞ started disinfection in public transportation vehicles in order to prevent the spread of epidemic diseases caused by viruses.

Working to maximize customer satisfaction, MOTAŞ is carrying out detailed cleaning and disinfection processes in public transportation vehicles in order to ensure that passengers can travel in a cleaner and healthier environment, when the upper respiratory tract infections and coronavirus are on the agenda.

With the detailed cleaning initiated in buses and trams to transport citizens with cleaner, more hygienic vehicles, all interior surfaces of the vehicles, roof, rear-bottom parts of passenger seats, windows, advertisement screens, passenger handles, door tops, driver's place, torpedo, glass edges, side and ceiling surfaces, ventilation covers, all metal surfaces in the vehicle are cleaned with steam machines and medicated and hygienic cleaning materials.

Lastly, the floor is cleaned inside the bus and the buses are passed through the external washing brushes for external cleaning. The routine cleaning process lasts until late at night and the vehicles are made ready for service.

In addition to cleaning operations, it is cleaned before and after mechanical maintenance. The cleaning agents used are selected in accordance with the applied surface. Thanks to the cleaning and disinfection processes applied late at night in the garages where the buses are connected, the vehicles are secured against all kinds of microbes and harmful organisms.
