Studies carried out by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality against the epidemic of coronavirus (Covid-19) continue. Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality distributed disinfection and mask to cooperatives to be used in public transportation within the scope of coronavirus measures.
BUSES ARE DISINFECTED
Metropolitan Municipality is increasing the measures taken throughout the province against the coronavirus epidemic, which affects the world. Within the scope of these services, the Directorate of Transportation Services Public Transport Branch Directorate started work for private public buses. In public transport, besides municipal buses, private public buses are disinfected by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality.
DISINFECT TO COLLECTIVE TRANSPORT VEHICLES
Metropolitan Municipality has taken action for hand cleaning, the first and most important of the 14 rules determined by the Ministry of Health against the risk of corona virus. Considering these needs of citizens who have to use public transportation drivers and public transportation vehicles, the Metropolitan Municipality distributed disinfection and masks to the cooperatives.
MASK FOR DRIVERS
Our citizens can easily disinfect their hands while getting on the bus. In order to protect the bus drivers against the risk of epidemic and work more comfortably, the mask was distributed to the drivers. Disinfectants and masks were provided by the Metropolitan Municipality for 2 thousand public transportation vehicles connected to all cooperatives throughout Kocaeli.
