Disinfection of the IETT and ÖHO Vehicles Started During the Day

IETT recently started disinfection at Metrobus stations and intensified disinfection after buses in the evening. Now the disinfection process is carried to the middle of the day. In this context, from 11:09 until 00:17 on Wednesday, 00 March. Kadıköy, Eminönü, Beşiktaş, Sultanbeyli, Mecidiyeköy platforms started to disinfect the IETT, İOAŞ and ÖHO buses between the flights.

The hygiene study is carried out with a product approved by the IMM Health Department and used in the intensive care of hospitals. This product is known as a substance that does not require long-term ventilation of buses after application. During the process, 2 vehicles, 4 vehicles and 10 personnel, 20 personnel work in each platform. 20 of the team of 5 people are female employees. IMM aims to reduce the risk of public transport by preventing corona and similar epidemics.

The application made by Istanbul Bus Inc., which is affiliated with IMM, will take 2,5 months.
