Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality is increasing the measures taken throughout the province against the coronavirus epidemic, which affects the world. Within the scope of these services, the Directorate of Transportation Services Public Transport Branch Directorate has started to work on repairing and replacing the driver's cabin windows and removing the disinfectant dispenser deficiency in the private buses as well as the municipal buses serving within the body.
The first and most important of the 14 rules determined by the Ministry of Health against the risk of coronavirus is the frequent washing of hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. In places where water and soap are not available, hand cleaning can be performed with anti-bacterial disinfectant gel and water. Considering these needs of our fellow countrymen who had to leave their homes and use public transportation vehicles, the Metropolitan Municipality put disinfectant tools and medicines on private public buses together with the city buses. In this way, all our fellow citizens can easily disinfect their hands while getting on the bus. In order to protect the bus drivers against the epidemic risk and to work more comfortably, the driver's cab windows are revised and renewed.
