Airport bus services in Izmir were redirected to the city.

As part of the intercity travel restriction, domestic flights from Izmir were largely canceled, so most of the buses making an airport flight were drawn into the city. The two lines were stopped.

Within the scope of combating the coronavirus outbreak, the Ministry of Internal Affairs made it compulsory to obtain a governor's permit for intercity travel. As with bus companies, airlines have canceled many flights. There are no domestic flights other than THY at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport. Turkish Airlines has also reduced the number of flights.

The Izmir Metropolitan Municipality ESHOT General Directorate also temporarily stopped the services of the Mavişehir Transfer Center - Airport (200) and Bornova Metro - Airport (204) buses, as the number of passengers decreased significantly. Bus number 202 to Alsancak Cumhuriyet Square - Airport will continue.

Vehicles and drivers picked up from the airport lines will support inner-city flights.
