Mersin Metropolitan Municipality, which continues to work to improve the civil foot of public transport and improve the quality, is preparing to provide training to the cooperatives and chauffeurs on issues such as traffic, public relations, first aid.
Before the training, which will start on March 2, 2020, a meeting was held with the participation of the Transportation Department Head Ersan Topçuğlu, the Police Department Head Fuat Tuğluoğlu, the Provincial Police Department officials, cooperatives and chamber representatives. During the meeting, ideas were exchanged with the cooperatives and chamber representatives, and some road plans to be followed were determined and the road map to be followed was determined.
All the cooperatives and chamber presidents who attended the meeting expressed their satisfaction with the training to be provided by the Directorate of Transportation, with the guidance of the Mayor of Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Vahap Seçer, and thanked President Seçer.

Before the training, it will be determined whether there are any problems of the drivers in terms of criminal records or drug addiction from AMATEM and the appropriate drivers will be trained.
In the training to be provided by the Metropolitan Municipality, it is planned to provide information to the drivers working on the civilian foot of public transport on issues such as traffic, public relations, first aid. “Passenger Transport Identity Card” will be given to the drivers who are successful in the training and exam.
