Who is Özgür Soy?
Özgür Soy was born in 1970. Following his education at German High School, he received a Mechanical Engineering Degree at Boğaziçi University and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from INSEAD. He completed the Port Management Certificate Program with a scholarship from the Singapore Government under the Singapore Cooperation Program. He is still in PhD thesis at Istanbul Technical University.
Özgür Soy, who worked in management roles in companies such as Kumport, Procter & Gamble, DHL, Schneider Electric, Arçelik, Borusan Lojistik, Trenkwalder; Yeditepe University and gave UU International Logistics Management Course, Turkey has participated as a speaker at many conferences in Europe and the Middle East.
Özgür Soy, who was appointed as the Metropolitan Municipality of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality as of 13 February 2020, has 2 children and speaks English and German fluently.
