Indian railway company Larsen and Toubro (L&T) won the giant maintenance tender held by Etihat Rail. Etihad Rail, the official railroad company of the United Arab Emirates, is a company that manages freight and passenger transportation and aims to expand its rail network.
India's Larsen & Toubro is the best bidder for the maintenance tender to be held at seven different locations in the United Arab Emirates. L&T, announced as the winner of the $ 510 million tender, will work with its Chinese partner Power China International (PCI) on this project.
